Oshkosh Air Show

One of Ken's traditional outings for he and the kids is the annual air show in Oshkosh, WI. Last weekend he and Matthew attended together.

Matthew took some fantastic pictures with our little digital camera!

This transport was just HUGE!

This is the air intake. =)

Two planes and a parachutist.

F-16 fighter on the ground waiting to take off.

"Even standing that far away, the heat felt like a fan that was blowing hot air. If you notice the little flags were going back and forth really fast! He was just idling there and the heat was still really really strong. Just to relieve you,-- he was not going to take off there."--Matthew

These are things that little boys are made of.
Nothing like a bit of dreaming.

They had a fantastic time. Matthew can't stop talking about it.

GJ: I wonder who those guys are.
TD: People who can fly!

It looks like you guys enjoyed your time there. I remember going to an airshow when I was younger and it was really impressive to see all the planes.

What a fun time, and what great pictures! My favorites are the transport (isn't it amazing that they can get that thing off the ground!), Matthew in the cockpit, and the third picture of the four planes where you can see by their con trails that they have just looped over. Do you know which group they were? I used to like to watch the Blue Angels. - GJ

What a fun day! One observation...what has happened to the younger Sissons?? Matthew looks to be at least a foot taller than I remember, and in the last photos, Haley looked so grown up! I guess time doesn't stop when you don't see people?? That always amazes me! ;) Glad we can "see" you here!
