Raspberries

Haley's name means hero. That she is.
She braved the mosquitoes to harvest some of our
black raspberries.

Although the bee-keeper's hat did a good job
keeping the bugs away
the main disadvantage is that you cannot eat while you pick. :-)

Two cups doesn't sound like a lot but it's enough to serve on
ice cream.

Yummy and there's still more to come!

Yum! Raspberries are Jim's favorite. We picked some a couple of years ago and made homemade ice-cream!
It was so nice to see you yesterday and spend some time together. We will defintiely have to do a family get together.

We have been enjoying raspberries too! Homemade ice cream with raspberries, raspberries and whipped cream and raspberry cobbler!
Last night, we had our first sweet corn for this year. It was soooo good. And of course, we had zucchini with supper too:) There always seems to be an abundance of zucchini, how can one plant produce so much?!! :) :)

Oh Natalie you are making my mouth water. We didn't do a garden this year and that makes me sad. Can zucchini be sent in the mail?? =) Maybe you'd rather hand deliver some and pay us a nice long visit??

I hope to have some homemade ice cream soon too. We have just been soooo busy on weekends as you can imagine.

Love,
Mrs. Sisson
