Tons of FUN !

To all our faithful blog readers. This is Nate signing in again. Mom and Gretchen are both gone. But before Mom left, she started this post. So the pictures were all here, I just added the comments (with a little help from Haley)

SATURDAY

The Indiana cousins joined us and the Hemmers.
Where did the ball go?

Grandpa, in his favorite chair.

Andrew also joined us for the evening.

Jason and I doing back to back juggling......... or attempting to.

Did he bite his tongue or is he thinking.
( I go for the tongue)

Melody joining in on the juggling fun. Matthew is practicing. He hopes to be good enough do some ball passing next time the Hemmers come.

Singing hymns together.

Jason pondering the world's problems.

Uncle Tom, still smiling, even though he has pneumonia.

One of the best things we did together.

Eat!!! ;-)

For as long as I can remember, Grandpa Sisson has liked to have his hair combed.

The goal in this next game is to eat six ritz crackers in one minute.
( Without water !!!)

Starting

It is harder then you might think !

Gretchen got one down, I think Kyle got five.

SUNDAY

How many people does it take to play a song on the flute? More then you would think.

Grandma and Grandpa Lainio playing their favorite card game (Be mean to your Neighbor) with Mr. and Mrs. Hemmer.

Looking at pictures.

We did more then juggle.

Playing a game where you have to act out words.

LABOR DAY
Haley: What is she doing to my hair?

Haley: I had fun playing games and talking (or should we say giggling! ) with the girls.

Preparing for a game of chubby bunny.

Nothing like a good rousing game of volleyball.

Some good old brotherly competition.

When looking at the above contestants, I would guess that Mrs. Wendtland won.

Haley and Faith.

More fun and games.

Jason and I conducting an orchestra.

Nate: Jason, why are you wearing that white ........ hat ........... thing?

Jason: Because they are terribly comfortable, I think everyone will be wearing them in the near future.

Nate, Haley and Mom.
