Two weekends ago the guys all headed south for the annual Father Son Camp in Oakland. The weekend was perfect. Sunny and crisp during the day with beautiful fall colors.

Spectacular views everywhere you looked!

Here's the
Sisson home. Matthew slept like a log every night.
Ken wishes he could say the same.

When you see Glenn or Amos ask them how the
canoeing went!!

That fish was
this long!
Lloyd and Emily were indispensable.
Their whole family is a living display of the servant hood of Christ.
I wish I had pictures of the Miller family.
They started and have kept this event going for years . . . . . . . now to the tune of 480 fathers and sons!

Nick
Vujicic (
lifewithoutlimbs.org) spoke to the men. Incredible testimony!

What a character!

All the necessary favorites of men.

Outside time. . . . . . . . .

food . . . . . . .

friends . . . .

and God's word!!!!

Norm is an incredible teacher. He's come to Illinois so many times we've adopted him as our state mascot! We love Norm.

Eden String Quartet prepared every one's hearts for worship. [If you don't have their DVD get one! It's
sooooo encouraging. www.edenstringquartet.com]
Gretchen was delighted to play along with them.
Ahhh Kyle.
What a difference a year makes!
=)

Another favorite activity -- shooting!

More shooting of a different kind.

GREAT JOB Robby!

Kayaking competitions.

We've heard rumors that since the camp Kyle is sporting a beard!
Is it true??? We can't wait to see it!

The guys fished. Matthew thought that it was highly unfair that Jojo caught
all the fish.

This game was fun to play and fun to watch.

Greg
Rosenquist and his boys.

The
Roachs from CO.

The
Barnards &
Capps.

A perfect weekend!
