Throwed Rolls

Several of us had our first trip to Lambert's Cafe last night. They advertise that they are the home of the throwed rolls! What? I'm a Mom, you don't play with your food. Hum.

Uh oh. They are throwing things . . . . . . . . . . . . food!

Actually I've been to Lamberts before. This was Alaina and her Great Grandparent's first visit.

They come around with big pots and in addition to your entree they offer all sorts of yummy things. (fried okra being one)

This is Grandpa's kind of restaurant, all-you-can-eat! Grandma is trying to figure out how to keep him from exploding. "wink"

They walk around with these HUGE warm from the oven rolls. If you want one you hold up your hand and they toss it to you. Thus the claim for throwed rolls.

One of the waitresses asked Haley and Nate if they were twins!

Then she asked if Haley was older?! Ha Ha.

After you've stuffed yourself they have professional rollers who roll you back to your car! "wink"

We unanimously suggest that you go there sometime. Try not to eat for at least a day in advance. Give us a shout, we'd love to join you. "grin"
